    The 2008 vintage in Hilltops was marked by a warm growing season with low to moderate rainfall. Growing conditions were favourable and cool up until a warm March which resulted in full, ripe fruit flavours. Fleshy, fruit driven wine with dominant flavours of cassis, licorice and dark chocolate coupled with varietal mint undertones. The wine shows ample structure from supple fruit tannins and nutmeg oak and finishes with lingering, savoury tannins.
